The world is full of boundless mysteries; no living beings are more aware of that than those who wander much longer on the earth than humans. Elves always had their ways, and especially their connection to time is peculiar and incomprehensible to most other species. Consequently, once every hundred years a child is born in their midst, and it is welcomed with open arms and events of exuberance and celebration.

Many follow the millennia-old tradition of the Tournament of Endless Arrows, a competition where the greatest bowmen and crossbowmen show off their immaculate skills and century-old experience, to measure their strength in honor and to celebrate the innumerable wonders this world has to offer, with the most precious one being the miracle of life.

However, the Tournament is much more than a competition for archery, because for once the gates to a secretive and mysterious world open, and elf cities bustle and rustle with all kinds of beings and creatures, everyone is welcome to drink, eat and sing. Old friends meet each other again and tell stories of adventures old and recent, swords are crossed, armor is compared, advantages of different herbs and crystals are discussed and the constellations of stars are philosophized.
