Halloween is almost here, a time of year that often brings strange occurrences to Smeet City. Walking down a side street on your way home from work one night, you hear a loud banging coming from what sounds like something underground. Suddenly a front door bursts open and a man in a white coat comes storming out, hundreds of spiders running around his feet.

Once you’ve calmed him down he tells you his name is Derek, a lab assistant and part-time ‘experimental scientist’. He's had some trouble with a particularly special experiment he's been working on. Upon hearing this, most people would run a mile. The guy sounds like a serial killer. But not you. No. You are strangely fascinated by what Derek has to say and express an interest in helping him out.

Of course, the next thing you know, you’re stood in Derek’s basement wearing a pair of rubber gloves searching for fuse boxes so Derek can activate his ‘Soulcatchers’. Instant regret. The man is clearly crazy, but you humor him as you have started to fear for your own safety. And to think you had a nice evening planned on the sofa with a glass of vino and Downton Abbey…

Except, as it turns out, Derek ain’t so crazy. As you help him further with his experiment, something spectacular, yet horrific, occurs…


Start off with Straw Sacks, Fuses and Yarn Reel. Using Pumpkin Guillotines, Soulcatchers and Spinning Wheels, you should be able to provide Derek with everything he needs to begin infusing the lifeless Halloween Monster with some much-need spirit!

It’s the Halloween Monster’s favorite time of year, so the fact that you’ve helped him return to life just in time for it probably means he will be extra generous! Be prepared for a spooky load of Fame Points and a creepy badge!
