Prepare for summer at Playa de los Delfines!

Playa de los Delfines

Who doesn’t love the beach? Chilling out on the yellow sand, reading your favourite book or rocking out to your favourite tunes on your Walkman (yes, I still use a Walkman, got a problem with that?), the only thing that can (and, let’s be honest, usually DOES) ruin your day is some pesky kids running around you kicking sand everywhere. No need to panic though, as you are safe in the knowledge that as soon as they finish that sandcastle they’ve been working for 3 hours you are going to ‘accidently’ rugby-tackle your mate right into it. That’s the last time that particular group of 6 year-olds is going to mess with YOU.

Setting the bullying of small children aside for just a moment, the mayor of Smeet City has just called you in a fluster. The historic beach area, Playa de los Delfines, has fallen upon hard times. Once the shining jewel of the Smeet City Bay Area, it now looks somewhat decrepit. The beach itself remains as delightful as ever, but years of neglect, under-investment and the sale of contracts to questionable individuals have left the apartment buildings by the coast looking less-than-desirable. Luckily, Smeet City is now undergoing a bit of a boom and the city authorities want you to get down there and sort the place out!

The renovation of the resort is going to take some proper hard work. Collaborate with your engineers to facilitate the destruction of the old abandoned buildings using blasting charges and dynamite. Then bring in some outside expertise to do the calculations for what is required to rebuild, assembling a series of awesome looking new apartment blocks to go with the stunning beach!

Once you’re done, Playa de los Delfines will be ready for its biggest summer in years!

Best of luck, Smeeters!
