We’ve discussed a number of interesting characters from Smeet City in this blog in the past, and this week we present to you yet another pillar of the community – Gregory the music box maker! Producing spectacular pieces of craftmanship for decades, not one festive season goes by without his music filling the air in Smeet City.

Old Greg is getting on, however, and his body isn’t what it used to be. In recent years he has called in helpers to assist him prepare for the Christmas rush – special, music box-loving imps that do all the groundwork while Greg tells them his ideas. In an attempt to take on more local workers, this year Greg has also decided to hire you – here is your chance to work with a legend!

Making Music Boxes is NOT a simple business. It requires great skill and a steady hand. Luckily the Music Shop Imps are here to help, so it isn’t just down to you. Firstly, check the Boxes of Trash for any old Rusty Music Box Barrels you might find. We’re going to use them – recycling is the name of the game after all!

Use the Imps with Brushes and the Imps with Tongs to clean and straighten out the Music Box Barrels. Then take the Untuned Barrels to the REAL experts – the Imps with Tuning Forks. They will tune the barrels to ensure you can produce some flawless sounds from your Music Boxes.
