Humankind has, throughout history, developed a staggeringly diverse cultural ‘footprint’. From food and drink to architecture, art and music, the world is full of wonderful and fascinating ideas, creations and inventions. Arguably the most significant in our long history, however, is the written word - it has changed the way in which ideas can be shared, spread and passed down to coming generations. Even in the digital age, the impact of literature remains!

Smeet City, as it turns out, has been sitting on some pretty significant literary works itself but, in true Smeet City style, has somehow managed to allow them to fall in to a terrible state of disrepair and neglect, prompting an appeal for help to repair them! As with any odd job that needs doing around here, there’s only ONE person to call upon in a time of
need...

Unfortunately that person isn’t available, so we guess you’ll have to do ;)

All the years of wear and tear have affected the books differently. You will receive some in better shape than others from
the archivists, so make sure you pay attention to the needs of each book! Once you have them, mend and bind the books to have them looking good as new and ready for use once more!
